CREW Iowa Pop-Up Events

CREW Iowa Pop-Up Events are a fun, informal way for our members to connect, engage, and experience something new together! Whether it’s a behind-the-scenes tour, coffee meet-up, fitness class, happy hour, or unique local experience, CREW Iowa members can host small-group events throughout the year.

 Members interested in hosting a pop-up event are encouraged to submit their ideas for consideration. Hosts are responsible for arranging event logistics and collecting any fees necessary to cover venue costs, activities, food, etc. The CREW Iowa Chapter Administrator will assist with event registration setup and promotion.

 Important Details:

  • Limited to one member-hosted pop-up event per month

  • Events must be submitted by and hosted by CREW Iowa members

  • Events are subject to review and approval by the Events Committee

  • Unfortunately, submissions from non-members cannot be accommodated

Event Guidelines

To ensure all pop-up events align with CREW Iowa’s mission and values, please keep the following in mind when planning and submitting your event ideas:

  • Events should be professional, inclusive, and focused on business networking, community building, or professional development

  • Events must not promote political, religious, or other controversial agendas

  • Events should avoid topics or activities that could be perceived as discriminatory, offensive, or divisive

  • Events must not involve activities that conflict with CREW Iowa’s mission to advance women in commercial real estate

  • Events must comply with all local laws and safety guidelines

  • Events should be welcoming and accessible to all CREW Iowa members

 The Events Committee reserves the right to approve or decline event ideas that do not align with these guidelines.

 Examples of Acceptable Events: Coffee meet-ups, industry tours, skill-building workshops, community volunteer days, wellness activities, or unique local experiences that encourage connection and professional growth.

 Examples of Unacceptable Events: Campaign fundraisers, religious services, events with discriminatory themes, or activities not aligned with CREW Iowa’s mission.
